LOCAL DELIGHTS & PRIZE WINNING YORKSHIRE BEERS

Being part of the Timothy Taylor Company you can excuse us for a little bias but we believe them to be the finest cask ales around and we have the awards to prove it. Timothy Taylor’s prize-winning Yorkshire Beers and Ales are brewed in Keighley. The main brands are Landlord, Golden Best and Best Bitter (now Boltmaker) – all award winning cask ales. We always have the Ram Tam on, and in winter the Dark Mild too. Sometimes we’ll have a guest ale but not often as we already have the best!

Landlord has been crowned 4 times as CAMRA’s champion beer of Britain. The Brewery has been brewing premium cask beers since 1858 and also produces Landlord in a bottle. Timothy Taylor’s Brewery is the last family brewery of its kind in West Yorkshire producing prize winning traditional ales and beers.

LANDLORD

The drinkers’ favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma. A recent survey revealed that Landlord has the highest proportion of drinkers who call it their favourite ale. And it has won more awards than any other beer, winning both CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Challenge Cup four times.

BOLTMAKER

TIMOTHY TAYLORS, 4%

The Brewers’ Favourite. Named after one of favourite local pubs, Boltmaker is a well-balanced Yorkshire Bitter that was awarded Supreme Champion Beer of Britain in 2014.

RAM TAM

TIMOTHY TAYLORS, 4.3%

A dark, strong beer that has a reputation as a ‘Winter Warmer’. Wholesome and satisfying, this mellow beer has body and depth, leaving a pleasant fruity afterglow.

GOLDEN BEST

TIMOTHY TAYLORS, 3.5%

The Last of the true Pennine light milds. A crisp, amber coloured beer that makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it a popular choice close to the brewery, and increasingly in destination pubs across the country.

KNOWLE SPRING BLONDE

TIMOTHY TAYLORS, 4.2%

Knowle Spring Blonde is a full-bodied blonde beer brewed with Golden Promise barley malt, Strisselspalt hops from Alsace, and UK-grown Minstrel, Cascade and Chinook hops. It’s an easy-drinking beer with floral and grapefruit aromas, spiced orange on the tongue followed by aromatic citrus hop flavours to finish.

HOPICAL STORM

Strike Thirst. Unleash a tropical cyclone of refreshment with this 4% triple-hopped, sessionable pale ale topped with flavours of mandarin, mango and passion fruit.

Brewed with Cascade and Whitbread Goldings in the copper, Cascade and Chinook at the hop back stage, then dry hopping with Jester and Ernest.

All combining with natural Knowle Spring water, fine barley malts and our unique Taylor’s Taste yeast to create the tropical storm of flavour and aroma.

My clients are those who’ve come to the realisation that there are no quick fixes or magic potions and are ready to put steps in place to get results without unnecessary sacrifice. They’ve tried every popular diet and training method going only to end up back at square one – unhappy, unmotivated and lacking the results they want.

I am a friendly, approachable trainer who is passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives. Through good planning and genuinely listening to my clients I will ensure you leave your session feeling energised and positive.

I specialise in transforming both ladies and gents who are trying to juggle all aspects of life and are fed up of been on a roller coaster of guilt ridden dieting and training. I will educate and empower you into taking control of your life ensuring you develop a healthy relationship with food and training. I practice what I preach: I love to train, eat well and feel great.

I have been where you are and can help you get where you want to be. Together we will achieve your fitness goals, be this fat loss, build muscle, improve shape or to get fitter.

Chris Kitson

Chris has spent the past 9 years in the health and fitness industry developing his Personal Training background, whilst working as a Specialist Biomechanics Coach, and gaining a Masters Degree in Osteopathy.

Chris has a fresh approach to therapy and combines all his skills and knowledge to best suit the client/patient in front of him. His enthusiasm to learn and help others improve their movement capacity means he loves a challenge as it only helps improve his learning curve and ability to help others later down the line.
Therefore, combining his therapy and fitness coaching backgrounds provides a solid knowledge base to be able to integrate and provide the best outcome for his client/patient.
As a competitive triathlete himself, his primary client base includes: cyclists, runners, and triathletes. Having worked with numerous GB level athletes, Chris understands the stresses that are involved in top level sport, and helps develop strategies to aid performance.
Chris has presented at numerous high profile conferences and trade shows, on subjects including: flexibility, biomechanics, and modern pain science.

Chris is also a tutor for Biomechanics Education, Body Type Nutrition, and Movement Therapy Clinics. He has a passion for educating others to aid their understanding of human movement, performance, injuries, and pain.
